IPOPI strongly recommends that companies exhibiting at IPIC 5th Edition always verify local regulations regarding exhibiting and distributing promotional materials at scieitific meetings in the country where the congress is taking place. It should be noted that a dedicated are is reserved for the exhibition at IPIC 5th Edition and that promotional items are clearly separated in the scientific programme. Most delegates at IPIC are doctors and other healthcare professionals. The organisers require all sponsoring and exhibiting companies to follow the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations – EFPIA – codes of conduct related to their participation at the IPIC 5th Edition Congress.

Official Italian Agency for AIFA Procedure

Any Italian pharmaceutical company supporting or participating in a congress abroad, is subjected to an authorization by AIFA (Italian Drug Agency), according to an Italian Government Decree (Decreto Legislativo 219/06 – art. 124) in attached.

The request of authorization must be submitted within 60 days before the starting date of the event. The appointed agency to collect all applications from pharmaceutical companies and file them with the AIFA is:
