The 5th International Primary Immunodeficiencies Congress (IPIC) was organised by IPOPI in beautiful Vilamoura, Portugal in April 2022.

The congress saw the joining together of 600 delegates interested in learning more about the diagnosis and clinical care of primary
immunodeficiencies (PIDs). The majority of the more than 130 posters that were authorised for presentation were delivered by young scientists and doctors with a passion for PID.

The strength and success of IPIC lies in its well-balanced scientific programme that is clinically orientated with input from key PID stakeholders namely doctors, scientists, patients and nurses, designed to complement other existing international congresses and scientific meetings.

The IPIC5 meeting report presents a summary of the conference’s main sessions, providing relevant updates and highlighting the recent advances in PID.
